We set out to make a splash with this distinctive design for a wild water code, launched as part of a programme to engage with school children before they finished for their summer holidays.
“If you are tempted to swim in rivers or lakes, the shock of cold water, jumping in, hidden hazards, the temptation to drink alcohol and swim – these are all real risks and even strong swimmers can easily get into trouble,” said Councillor Linda Smith, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Parks and Sport.
